
Owner - Lucinda Glenny
Owner – Lucinda Glenny CPDT-KA, has over 30 years of experience breeding, training and competing with dogs. She has earned her reputation in working with aggressive and anxious dogs over the years and is referred to by vets, breeders and the OSPCA.
Lucinda is a certified trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in the US. She is currently studying for her BSc in Behavioral Science at York, to further her understanding of how environment and temperament effect each dog. Lucinda continues to attend numerous conferences and accredited seminars every year. She is a long standing member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers, a Team Leader and Evaluator for Therapeutic Paws of Canada and a certified Evaluator for the Canadian Kennel Club Canine Good Neighbor program.
Her experience includes:
- Earning over 75 American and Canadian titles in conformation, lure coursing and obedience
- Member of breed rescue associations
- Volunteering with the Humane Society and SPCA Lucinda earns referrals from local veterinarians, groomers and breeders because of her success with helping owners develop happy, well adjusted dogs.
Daycare Manager – Kim Merendino has over 10 years of experience working with dogs, having begun her career at the age of 14 walking and pet sitting for neighbours and friends. She now has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Communications and Cultural Studies from McMaster University, and is currently working on completing a diploma in Business Administration at Seneca College.
Kim has been with Canine Campus since 2009, and is happy to be in the role of manager at the daycare. She has a passion for pets, currently sharing her home with 3 resue dogs, 2 budgies and a cat. She is dedicated to creating a caring, fun environment where every dog has its day.

Instructor - Arlene Kotick
Instructor – Arlene Kotick brings over to 25 years of training experience to Canine Campus. Her logical and compassionate approach to training puts her clients at ease and helps them to achieve great results.. Students love her!
Arlene is an active member of Therapeutic Paws of Canada with two of her dogs. She is currently studying sign language at the Bob Rumble Centre for the Deaf, giving her the ability to communicate with Deaf Students that may come into class
Arlene loves to work with her own dogs and has successfully competed in many obedience trials and flyball competitions. Her beloved companions – Ginny Mae (pug), Bradi-Lou (pug) and a Chinese Crested named Bentley are stars of stage and screen appearing in many popular television commercials, movies and ads.

Instructor - Janis Mikelberg
Instructor – Janis Mikelberg, for several years has been one of the Senior Trainers at another local facility and we are very pleased to have her bring her expertise to Canine Campus. Most recently, Janis took her certification test through the American Professional Pet Dog Training Association.
I am very confident in Janis’ ability to help your puppy learn proper social skills and to do it in a fun and positive style. She will be teaching a number of classes at various levels and definitely brings a great quality to our teaching curriculum.
